TWILIGHT SPORTS

On Monday 2nd March all of the talented children of St Luke’s participated in their Sports night. It was so much fun!
We ran really fast in races. We jumped really high over hurdles. We threw beanbags as far as we could and we ran in the Shuttle Relay. Everyone got to win a ribbon! It was a great night and Red team won the Sports.
What was your favourite event at Sports Night?

Clean Up Australia Day!

At St. Luke’s we always try to keep our school environment clean and litter free. Our student Environment team held a special ‘Clean Up Australia Day’ last Friday. The whole school dressed up in costumes or ‘cleaning up’ clothes. After lunch we were allocated an area to clean up. All the rubbish we found went into special bags. We were very happy to see that there was not a lot of rubbish found around our school.

On Sunday many communities worked together to clean up around their streets, rivers, parks and beaches. We are raising awareness of the importance of keeping Australia clean and caring for our environment.

Thank you to our Environment team and Ms. Scott for all your hard work!

Here are the Preps ready for action!

Why is it important to look after the environment and keep it rubbish free?
